"Fast?" Her normal speed was just like that. If she suddenly walked slowly as a tortoise, others may feel it quite strange. 

The high efficiency and speed that she had honed over the past few years wasn't something that could be changed in a short period of time.

Mallory frowned in silence, whose face darkened. 

They then went to a nearby café.

Isabella waited for Mallory to sit down before pulling out a chair from the opposite side and sat down. She folded her hands on the table and said with a bland expression, "What do you want to say, Mrs. Miller? I have a lot of work to do this afternoon."

Mallory immediately went angry after hearing her words. 

Even if she wasn't her mother-in-law now, how could she be so rude to an elder?

She was still that uneducated girl.

However, she had come here for some other thing, so she was not in the mood to argue with her. Even though she was dissatisfied, she didn't show it obviously. 

A trace of disdain flashed through Mallory's eyes as she said, "You're a smart person, so you should know why I came for you today."

"Hello, what would you like to drink...?"

Mallory immediately waved her hand and reject the waiter. Staring at Isabella, she was now very anxious, and didn't want to be interrupted at all.

Isabella then turned to look at the waiter, politely smiling, "One latte with sugar, and one water, thank you."

"Alright, please wait a moment."

"When he was in Brighton, why didn't you come to me?" Isabella said with a smile. 

Mallory frowned. She was obviously a bit impatient, "Isabella, the only thing I care about now is whether the children in your belly belong to Christian or not. He is just like his father, a very responsible man. But when it comes to the issues regarding women, he may become a bit silly. But I'm not like him. Just tell me, are they his children?"

Hearing this, Isabella said faintly: "He probably has told you not to come to me. Aren't you afraid of him getting angry? And he has also told you that they are his children, while you don't believe it. Why you come here today? You believe in my words now?"

Mallory sneered, "No matter how angry he is, I'm still his mother. I just want you to go to the hospital with me today and do a check-up. After I make sure that they are Christian's children, I can satisfy all your demands except for remarrying him.

Isabella suddenly wanted to laugh, as she felt like in a drama show now. But she knew that Mallory would keep her promise. 

"I don't have time to go to the hospital right now. As for the identity of the children, if you believe in your son, then they are surnamed Miller. If you don't believe him, I'll have nothing to say. Furthermore, I don't need anything from you." Isabella said. 

"You!"

She rejected without hesitation, causing Mallory's face to turn ugly. She started to get angry, gritting her teeth, as she spoke in an even more unpleasant tone, "Isabella, I'm trying to be kind to you. You keep pestering Christian, but act high and mighty in front of me. Do you still remember that I'm his mother?"

Why hadn't she found that this woman was so hypocritical before?

The smile on Isabella's face gradually turned cold, "Mrs. Miller, I need to emphasise that it is him who keeps pestering me after we got divorce. You came to argue with me since he doesn't listen to you, right?" 

"Also, my family has nothing to do with the Miller anymore. If you want to harass me, I may have to call the police."
