Half an hour later, Sam put down his phone to act the intimate scene with Sheila with a fake smile, as if he was going to be sentenced to death.
Fortunately, this time, Sheila did not make any more mischief, allowing the scene to be shot smoothly.
"Eva, your phone just rang," Gemma called Eva who had just come down.
Because Eva had quarreled with Renee, the company never assigned her an assistant. She ran back and forth between the film set and Rosenfeld Hill all by herself. When filming, she casually threw her mobile phone in the lounge.
Sheila had brought four assistants to the crew and had two people serve her even to drink a glass of water. This was simply a world of difference.
"Who is it?" Eva asked casually.
"There's no note. Take a look and see if you know him. Forget it if you don't recognize it. In case it's a scam." Gemma said.
"Thank you." Eva smiled at her. This screenwriter had really helped her too much.
Eva took her phone and looked at it. Wasn't this Caleb's number? Why was he calling now?
She didn't dare to delay and quickly called back.
"Hello?" Eva asked tentatively.
There was no sound on the other end of the line.
"Mr. Livingstone?" Eva asked again.
William shook his head on the other end of the line, but Eva could not see it.
"It's strange. Why didn't you say anything when you called?" Eva was a little suspicious. Was someone playing a prank with Caleb's phone? But who would dare take Caleb's phone?
Eva immediately dismissed this bold conjecture.
"Liam?" Eva asked.
There was still a shallow breath on the other end of the line, and there was no sound.
"Good boy. Why did you call me? I will be back in four hours." Eva immediately confirmed that it was William who took Caleb's phone and called her.
"Did you read a book today? I will check it when I go back."
Eva talked on the phone for a long time. There was no sound on the other end of the line, but Eva knew that William had been listening carefully.
"Well, I am going to film. Just be a good boy." When Eva saw the assistant director coming over to call for them, so she quickly explained to William and hung up the phone.
The scene that was about to be filmed was a major plot of Eva. She had to fight with the general that Adam played in a martial arts competition, and then she accidentally fell and was saved by the general. The two had been acting so seriously that they didn't notice what happened among the crowd around them.
The first to react was the assistant director next to Mel. When he saw Caleb walk over with the child in his arms, he raised his hand and wiped his eyes, fearing that he had misread them.
"Mr. Livingstone, what brings you here?" The assistant director went over to greet him in a fawning manner.
Mel also quickly discovered that Caleb had come, but the two people in the camera just acted wonderfully at the time. He did not look away from the monitor but waved his hand to let his assistant entertain Caleb.
"I came for a visit." Caleb replied concisely.
The assistant director was a smart person. He immediately thought of the fact that Sam and Adam were Luxstar's actors. Presumably, Caleb came to visit these two people. However, it was strange that the one who came was not Nathan, the actual person in charge of Luxstar, but Caleb, president of Lumenstone Group.
Perhaps it was because he valued Mr. Fan?
