It was already 9pm when Mel called it a day. Eva was physically and mentally exhausted after a long day of filming, and the thought of having to deal with Morgan and Penelope made her incredibly irritable.
When Eva walked out of the set, the Livingstone's driver had been seen at the gate. Eva had to get in the car and head to the Sommers'.
"Give me twenty minutes." She instructed the driver as she got out of the car, slammed the door shut with a bang, and ran to her battlefield with her head held high like a proud peacock.
"You are back! So your mother's words meant nothing to you, huh?" Morgan questioned Eva as she walked in.
Eva did not sit down, but stood directly opposite the coffee table, her back straight, "What's wrong?"
"What's wrong? You're a disgrace! I should never have kept you, I should never have given birth to you, you're a disgrace to our family. How dare you use such dirty tricks on your own sister! Luckily, I gave her a bodyguard, or else your death is not even enough for atonement!" Morgan became even angrier as he noticed Eva did not have a trace of guilt.
"I don't have a sister." Eva's tone was cold.
It was sure that Sheila had framed her up, for it was a scene she had experienced countless times before.
"I haven't done anything that you call dirty, and even if there are such things, it would have been done by your baby daughter. You'd better go to the hospital and have the doctor check your eyes."
"You wretched girl!" Morgan picked up the porcelain ashtray on the coffee table and smashed it towards Eva.
Eva dodged nimbly, the ashtray was bigger than her face, and she would be absolutely disfigured by the smash.
"You haven't done that? Haven't you been living with a sugar daddy recently? And you even have a child. How come our family has such a shameless person like you?!" Morgan's face turned red with anger.
Eva raised his eyes and glanced at Morgan, sneering, "A sugar daddy?"
"Am I wrong? You brought him to the set and tried to hurt your sister, how can you be so vicious?" Morgan roared, and his neck tightened.
"Well, since you have said so, I would like to tell you the truth." Eva said playfully, “I am gonna marry with that sugar daddy. Please come to our wedding, but you'd better bring your heart-attack pills."
After saying that, Eva turned around and left without looking back.
"Sir, Mr. Livingstone is here." The butler stood respectfully in the doorway, just in time to block Eva's way out.
"Why are you here?" Eva looked at the visitor with a big surprise.
Morgan was suspicious when he heard the surname and asked as he stood up, "Which Mr. Livingstone?"
"The Senior one."
"What? Why didn't you invite him in?" Morgan strode to the door, squeezing Eva aside, and when he saw that it was really Caleb, he was so excited that he couldn't speak a complete sentence.
In order to distinguish between the two young and talented presidents of the Livingstone family, the upper-class circles in Hartvenport generally called Caleb as Mr. Livingstone Senior and Nathan as Mr. Livingstone Junior.
Although Nathan was also well-known, but his stories were more famous than his abilities; whereas Caleb had got the real power and say, which could make significant influence on the economy of Hartvenport.
Morgan had only heard of his name and had seen the real face of Caleb twice from afar, and now it was the first time he had come into close contact with him. Thus, he was so excited that his hands were shaking uncontrollably as if he had Parkinson's disease.
Caleb ignored Morgan's hand that reached over, but pulled Eva into his arms, saying, "I come to pick you up, Liam is crying."
Like any ordinary young couple, the husband came to pick up his wife who had returned to her mother's home.
Though the situation was different now.
