Vicky followed them at a distance, listening to the murmurs of the people around her.
"They make such a perfect couple! You can tell they come from a prestigious family!"
"That man is incredibly handsome, and the woman is beautiful, too. Judging by their attire, they are definitely a match made in heaven... Ah, fairy tales are all lies. Princes always marry Princesses, not Cinderellas."
"Well, of course. The rich and common folk have different values. There is no way they can be together. It's always been like this since the dawn of day."
"There are too many examples like this. Relationships with unequal status never get a happy ending."
Along the way, Vicky heard various comments from people and felt a sense of disorientation.
'Was that why Tyler and I were destined to be unhappy as well?' She thought.
Tyler and Aurora were drawing a lot of attention, so there was no worry in Vicky of losing them.
They did not do anything out of line along the way apart from just strolling and occasionally exchanging opinions on different things.
Due to the distance, Vicky couldn't hear what they were saying, but she could see the radiant smile on Aurora's face, filled with concealed admiration and adoration as she looked at Tyler.
Vicky was familiar with that kind of gaze.
When she first met Tyler, she had looked at him with the same eyes.
The memories from that time did not feel distant to her, as she had only recently relived them, making it feel like it happened yesterday.
Witnessing the current scene caused Vicky's heart to sink, as she realized that the time when Tyler and she were in love had been years ago, and they could never go back to where they were.
Just as Vicky was lost in her thoughts, something caught her attention.
She was not sure if Aurora tripped or something else happened; regardless of the reason, all she saw was Aurora blushing and falling into Tyler's arms.
