Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children novel Chapter 582

Chapter 582

Adina waved at them, and the children, who were sweating heavily from playing, immediately gathered. Then, they obediently said goodbye to the Xavier family members.

When Adina stopped her car in front of the Winters family‘s mansion, she noticed that Mrs. Winters was sitting in the pavilion absentmindedly. Her eyes were dull and lifeless.

Adina asked Mr. Brown to get the kids ready for a shower before she walked toward the pavilion.

“Mom,” Adina said, but Mrs. Winters did not respond at all. Adina raised her voice and called out to her again.

“Oh, Addy, you‘re back.” Mrs. Winters snapped out of her daze and flashed Adina a smile. “How did the children settle in with the Xavier family?”

“They had fun.” Adina paused for a while before she softly said,“ Mom, do you have Duke‘s new contact number?”

Mrs. Winters‘ face became stiff all of a sudden.

It seemed like she did not expect Adina to ask about that. She paused for a moment before she said, “Duke‘s business trip is in a European suburb. There‘s no signal tower there, so his phone can‘t receive any calls or messages.”

“It‘s okay. I‘m not contacting him now. I just want to save his number …” Adina smiled and said, “In case he comes back and calls me, but I don‘t know who it is.”

Mrs. Winters suddenly sighed. “Addy, my son has wronged you.”

Adina slowly stopped smiling. “Mom, why do you say so?”

“He couldn‘t toast to the guests with you during your wedding, and he went on a business trip on the first day of your marriage. Hasn‘t he wronged you?” Mrs. Winters‘ gaze was dodgy. “When he returns from his trip, I‘ll definitely ask him to keep you company for much longer. It‘d be best if you could go on a honeymoon together and add a few more children to the Winters family,”

The second she talked about having kids, Adina could no longer continue the conversation.

That night, when she gave birth to the kids four years ago, had been extremely dangerous, and it had caused her a lot of trauma. She never wanted to get pregnant and give birth anymore.

“Mom, please carry on with your tasks. I‘ll go inside and check on the kids.”
