Chapter 24 Clarifying the Rumor
Just as Anastasia was thinking, Derek called. His tone was a little angry and dignified.
"Have you seen the photos on the Internet? I'll have someone take care of it, and by the way, I'll announce your identity to shut them up."
Anastasia was not that angry. She had just scolded Lamia during the day. According to her vengeful temperament, how could she remain indifferent?
Lamia was probably the mastermind behind this.
She smiled lightly.
"Derek, I will take care of it, so you just leave it to me. My identity must be kept secret. Otherwise, I would feel ashamed that the young lady of the Graves family is on the trending list with that kind of person!"
Derek thought it made sense, so he agreed.
"Then if you need help, just tell me. I'll support you unconditionally."
"Thank you, Derek."
She hung up the phone.
Anastasia called Mae Wade, one of the two female interns, in.
Mae was the youngest and had a very detached personality.
After Anastasia explained the whole thing, Mae agreed immediately.
"I have to help you with this. I was just worried for the company. Now that I have this video, the truth will be revealed. Beatrice is too much. She just lies and bullies others!"
Anastasia smiled, "Don't worry. As soon as you release it, the company's response will follow immediately. There is no need to say anything else."
The two reached a consensus, and Anastasia let her leave.
At 7:50 in the evening, it was pitch black.
Mae posted a ten-minute video on her personal account to celebrate her joining the new company.
The title of the video: [First day at work. Where are the unspoken rules?]
As expected, it caused an uproar.
In the video, Beatrice was sitting the furthest away from Patrick, and her movements were pretentious.
The other four interns were talking and laughing naturally and gracefully.
