“Z?” Josiah called out to him several times. “Z? Are you there?”

Marcus snapped himself back to reality and cleared his throat.

Josiah chuckled and said, “Well, I finally understand what they mean by ‘losing in your own thoughts’. Even though I’m not there, I can imagine you staring at your wife right now.”

Marcus said with a grim voice, “Josiah, if you’re asking for a beating, you can just let me know. You don’t have to remind me so euphemistically.”
