Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 285

Nancy had a different opinion. “I feel that even if husband and wife should give each other some space. They can’t stick together every day, or it’ll be easy for them to get tired of each other.”

Louisa asked, “Are you bored with your Jeff?”

Nancy looked back and saw that Jeff wasn’t paying attention to them. She breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Jeff and I have known each other since we were young. We got married as soon as we reached the legal age. We’ve known each other for almost thirty years now, so it’s a lie to say that I’m not tired of him at all. But what really annoys me about him is that he’s even more controlling than my dad. In his eyes, I’m like a child who never grows up. He controls everything, and I have no personal space at all.”

Louisa poked her forehead and said, “You just don’t know how lucky you are. Many people would want to change places with you.”

Hearing this, Nancy blushed. “Don’t say that.”

The three of them were chatting happily when there was a commotion at the entrance. Then, the host took the microphone and said, “Our most important guest, Mr. Wude, has arrived. Please take your seats, and the auction is about to begin.’

The Wude family had some reputation in Coastal City, but compared to the major business tycoons, they were nothing.

Today, Adam and the other big business titans were all present, but they didn’t use their real identities, which was why Eric ended up being the most important guest.

Eric was surrounded by people as he walked into the venue. Everywhere he went, the spotlights followed him. Except for Lumma and her group, almost everyone’s eyes were on him.

Eric was enjoying the adoration of the crowd when his attention was suddenly drawn to Louisa and Nancy.

Louisa was a movie star, and Eric knew her, but the outside world didn’t know that Louisa was married or that she had a relationship with Callum.
