Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 3

Only then did Lumma find out that Adam was married. Seeing the gentle smile on Adam’s face when he mentioned his wife. Lumma guessed that Adam and his wife must be very much in love.

Adam was rich, had a good figure, and loved his wife dearly. Lumma felt a genuine sense of respect for her new boss.

Thinking carefully from the perspective of an ordinary girl, Lumma answered seriously, “Mr. Hills, girls like jewelry, but I think the most valuable thing is your consideration for your wife. For example, giving her a bouquet of flowers, asking her out for dinner, or going to see a movie together.”

Adam had no experience in love as well. He just wanted to be nice to the girl he married, so he said, “Fine, go and prepare for it.”

Upon receiving the order, Lumma immediately contacted the flower shop that often cooperated with Hills Group and personally chose the fiery red roses that symbolized love.

As for choosing a suitable restaurant for a date, a place to watch a movie, and so on, it was not difficult for Lumma, who had no experience in love before.

She was able to get to where she was today, and her efforts were far beyond ordinary people’s imagination.

Lumma remembered the characteristics of all the high-end restaurants in Red Pine City, knowing which places were suitable for dates and which places were suitable for entertaining clients. She even remembered the preferences of all the clients they had worked with.

After delivering the roses and the date address to the president’s office, Lumma finished her work today.

Today’s work seemed easy and went smoothly, but only Lumma knew how nervous she was all day.

Returning home, she finally relaxed after a long day and lazily fell onto the sofa, dozing off.

Adam arrived outside Lumma’s community and prepared to make a call, only to find that he didn’t have his wife’s contact information.

He felt deep remorse and regretted leaving his newlywed wife alone after registering their marriage. They had not contacted each other for a year, and he had not even saved her phone number.

Adam secretly decided that he would treat her even better in the future.

He found a phone number from his grandmother’s chat history and dialed it. A soft, sleepy voice came from the other end of the line as if she had just woken up. “Hello, who is this?”

Was his wife also didn’t save his number?

Adam smiled and said, “It’s Lucas.”

“Mr. Bergman, hello. May I ask what’s the matter?” Her voice was polite and distant as if she didn’t know him at all.

Adam was about to say something when a male voice came through the phone, “Baby, get up and eat if you’re awake…”

Adam suddenly realized something. His eyes darkened under his silver-rimmed glasses, and then he hung up the phone.

Adam looked at the gift and bright red roses beside him and suddenly felt that they were a real eyesore!

Adam looked away, lit a cigarette, took a few puffs, and instructed the driver, “Drive to Harrison.”

Lumma was half-asleep and had been working day and night. She had completely forgotten her husband, so the name “Lucas” meant nothing to her.

Since it was her private number, it shouldn’t be a client, so she didn’t pay much attention to this call.

Lumma put down her mobile phone, walked into the kitchen, squeezed between Ruby Mugging and Harry Eaton, and said softly, “Why didn’t you wake me up when you came back?”

Ruby reached out and touched the tip of her nose. “You look so tired. We can’t bear to disturb you.”

Harry served the dishes and said, “Wash your hands quickly. It’s time to eat.”

The three of them grew up together and were admitted to Osevaso University together. Originally, they planned to go back to their hometown to start a business after graduating from college.

No one expected that Lumma would have an accident during the summer of their sophomore year, which nearly prevented her from continuing her studies.

After the incident, they decided to stay in Red Pine City with Lumma to develop their careers.
