“Yes, I’ll wash the dishes and then get ready.” Lumma was a little disappointed that she couldn’t see the snowy night view of the Preivlille Tower, but this disappointment was far less important than work.
“Hey, why are you busy with work instead of accompanying your wife on Christmas Eve?” Judy rolled his eyes in anger. “Lumma, can’t you refuse him once? Assistants are also human beings, not machines. You spend every day of the year working, but what’s the meaning of life? Has no one told you that earning money is for better spending?”
Lumma had the soul of a working person deep inside her, and in her view, nothing was more important than making money. “But you have to earn money first, or where will you get the money to spend?”
“Are you two planning to team up and drive me crazy? Fine, I’m leaving. I won’t disturb your work.” Judy ran upstairs in anger, banging on the steps and shouting, “Other people your age spend the night busy making babies. But you two, on Christmas Eve, you still want to work. Go ahead and work. When you work yourself to death, the money won’t fit into your coffins. I’ll spend it for you in the future.”
Lumma was speechless…
She secretly glanced at Adam. Since she started working with Adam, she rarely saw him taking the time to accompany his wife, and he probably didn’t have time for making babies either. It was such a waste of his good genes.
Adam was also looking at Lumma. He had never thought about having children before, but if it was with Lumma, he was more than willing to give it a try.
Just as he stared at her, Lumma keenly sensed it.
When Judy mentioned making babies, why was he staring at her like that? Could it be that he wanted to make babies with her?
A ridiculous thought suddenly flashed through her mind, startling Lumma.
She immediately stood up and looked for an excuse to slip away. “Mr. Hills, I’ll go wash the dishes first.”
