Chapter 91: The witch_Part 3

Rohan, who had been approaching her, stopped. He scowled darkly and clutched his chest. Black blood trailed down his nose, and he wiped it off with his gloved finger, staring at it impassively.

"It’s been a long time since I felt the pinch of pain," he said. "How did you do it?"

"Since the day I heard about your release, I have been working on this with everything in me. This doll is you, and you are in my hands now. Beg me for mercy, and I might show it to you," she said arrogantly, confident now that the doll was connected to him like she had hoped.

She had killed many people with this method, and this method had worked on even spirits and ghosts. Rohan Dagon, like she had dreaded, wasn’t an exception. It seemed her hard work to kill and be free of him would go through tonight.

It was either her life or his, and hers was meant to be lived longer than this. With his life in her hand, she could control and finish him up. She had not known that cloaked girl—who she didn’t bother asking her name—had planned to kill his wife, but she no longer cared because the business had brought her a beauty she had not had in decades.

Rohan, whose nose kept bleeding and whose chest was beginning to feel like pins were being carved into him, did not show pain in his expression. He stood straighter and looked at her with his head crooked to the side.

"Go ahead and kill me then. I do not beg. I never beg for mercy," he said with a smile that made him look sinister because of the black blood that dripped down from his nose to his lips that were slowly turning pale due to the pain which he did not show.

Galyana, standing on the table and expecting him to beg her and fall to his knees, clenched her jaw. If he were a normal person, that one stab was enough to kill him, but he still stood with that annoying, arrogant expression on his face that gnawed at her and made her want to see him wither in pain and cry.

But then, no worries—she could still make him do that. She had him in her hands.

"You asked for this." She stabbed the doll in the eye, and she watched as Rohan’s muscles jolted and his face twitched before blood began to roll down his left eye. However, he made no attempt of begging her to spare him and stood there with blood on his face.

Angered yet again, she broke the doll’s leg, and to her satisfaction, she heard him groan and fall to his knees, the bone of his right knee pushing out from his flesh, sticking grotesquely out. He turned his good eye to look at it, his eyes narrowing like he couldn’t believe it, his limbs trembling slightly.

"Put that fucking doll away right now!" he warned, seemingly realizing she meant what she said about the doll being him, and his body being connected to it in a way she could cause damage—or even finish him.

Galyana threw her head back and laughed. "I’d like to see you stop me. You are not indestructible after all. Go kiss Satan’s ass!"

She broke the other leg, and to her satisfaction, he groaned in pain yet again but did not beg her as he fell weakly on his back with both legs sticking out in awkward angles.

"Goodbye." She broke the doll in two, right at the middle, and took immense pleasure in hearing his bones crunch, his body bending to a weird angle before it went still on the ground. Then she tossed the doll into her boiling pot of potions.

Galyana got down from the table, stretched her arms, and yawned. "I can sleep in peace now, knowing no mad vampire would come for my head," she remarked as she looked at his broken body on the floor of her den, where it was smoking and seemingly melting.
