Chapter 434
Jimmy really lost control in front of Theresa earlier. When he was reminded of what he went through lately, his emotions accumulated and exploded, so he wanted to teach her a lesson. Now that he got beat up by Charlie,
he came to his senses and remembered to explain himself.
“You didn’t?” Jonathan sneered. “Yeah you didn’t hit her, you only just killed her. If we were to arrive later,
would you have snapped her neck?”
Mrs. Calsis sat down on the sofa and looked at Jimmy. She never expected him to be such a bastard. It was no wonder both Charlie and Theresa had such long faces when they returned.
She asked Jonathan, “He’s quite badly injured, you sure he’s fine? Did Charlie say what to do with him?” Mrs. Calsis could not look at Jimmy directly. Although she knew he deserved it, she was still worried seeing how badly hurt he was.
Jonathan replied, “Mr. Calsis did not say. He was worried about Theresa, so he sent her home first and only
told me to bring Jimmy here.”
“Send him upstairs first then.” Mrs. Calsis said. She did not want to speak for Jimmy, as she knew Charlie definitely brought Jimmy back with a plan in mind.
Rosales walked over and said, “Mrs. Calsis, Jim knows he’s wrong. What happened today is all my fault, Jim just acted out. How could he want to kill someone? It’s impossible. He’s always been a good kid, he’d never do something like that. It’s just too much happened today and he lost control. He already got beaten up bad enough, isn’t that enough?”
Charlie was furious today, not to mention he was always on Theresa’s side, so there was seemly no chance Charlie could forgive Jimmy.
Rosales only hoped Mrs. Calsis would say some nice things for Jimmy.
Seeing Rosales move close, Mrs. Calsis moved away and said, “Don’t touch me. Why are you still speaking for
your son after what he’s done? You really taught him well, congrats on raising a son who hits women! This
makes me think, when Rose gets together with him in the future and things are not going his way, is he going
to beat her too?”
Having said that, Mrs. Calsis glanced at Rose, who had just walked in.
Rose stood behind Jimmy and followed him all this time. She was worried seeing him so severely injured. Rose
did not know what to do. After all, what happened today was too serious.
