Marry Me Twice (Kennedy and Charlotte) novel Chapter 234

Hearing it fell out of the pocket of his suit, Charlotte knew that it was Kennedy’s thing. After taking it from Annie's hand, she wanted to put the small box back in his pocket.

Seeing that, Annie could not help but raise her eyebrows and smiled, “You are not curious about what it is? Don't you want to open it?”

Hearing that, Charlotte froze and looked up at Annie.

Open it?

“It's a nice box. Even if it's his stuff, I think it is a gift, maybe it's for you. Why don't you open it?”

“No, it is not good… is it?” Charlotte was embarrassed and pressed her lips. After all she was to open his thing without Kennedy's consent, and...... most importantly, Kennedy would not buy her a gift.

May be... he bought it for someone else.

Annie reached out and took the box, “If you don't open it, I'll open it. I'm very curious about what Kennedy bought.”

With that, she opened the box, and Charlotte was too late to stop her.

After the small box was opened, a pair of earrings inset with pink diamond appeared in front of the eyes. The light froze two people. Annie exclaimed in surprise, “Sure enough, I said it is for you.”

Staring at the small round earrings, Charlotte's breath paused for a moment. She thought she was wrong.

These earrings...

It was that pair of earrings Yanis picked when they were shopping...... She had tried it, but it was expensive, so she did not buy it. Kennedy wanted to buy for her, but she refused.

Then she left, but she did not Kennedy would buy it.

But when did he buy it and why didn't he give it to her?

Thinking of his deep and fierce eyebrow, she could not believe that he would buy it and put it into his suit pocket. He spoke a few and rarely smiled. When he spoke, he spoke in harsh words.

“Anything wrong?” Annie asked curiously seeing that she was stunned by the earrings.

Hearing that, Charlotte recovered and shook her head, “Nothing.”

She looked away, still wondering why he had bought her the earrings, since he disliked her.

“Your skin is good and these earrings look good on you.” Annie put the box into her hand and smiled. “I've never seen Kennedy buy anything for a girl.”

“Aunt, you may have misunderstood, maybe this is not for me.” The box was put into Charlotte's hand. Charlotte suddenly felt as if she had touched something heavy. She held it, and then carefully closed the box.

Annie calmly smiled, feeling she had understood something, but since Charlotte was shy, she did not say it out.

Then Annie went to cook, and they had a few dishes together. Annie's cooking skills were very good. Charlotte had a bowl of rice for the first time. Annie saw that she had a good appetite and said, “You should add more food. You are too thin, and it is not good to the child.”
