Marry Me Twice (Kennedy and Charlotte) novel Chapter 483

Alice packed up things when Kennedy finished eating. She washed the insulation barrel and put it back to the table. After that, she took a look at her phone.

It was already after eight o'clock. When she looked out the window, she found it was dark outside.

Before she came to the hospital, Yanis said she would pick up Jack, so that she would have nothing to worry about.

Seeing that she held a phone, Kennedy frowned, “Do you want to go back?”

Hearing that, Alice put the phone away, pursing her lips, “I will be here for you, don't worry.”

Kennedy raised his eyebrow and was surprised that she would stay. He thought he would make the tricks again.

“I know what you're thinking.” Alice timely interrupted his thought, as if she had seen him through, “You will never get tired of trying that trick. You hurt yourself for me, and you know I can't do anything about it, so do whatever you want before your injury is healed.”

With that, Alice then sat down on the chair beside. Probably bored, she took out her phone, texting.

Kennedy was not angry or ashamed by what she said.

So that she saw him through?

He knew he was being mean, but he wanted her to stay with him.

As long as she would stay.

At that thought, Kennedy’s eyes became dark.

Alice although stayed, she paid no attention to him and did not take a glance at him, or asked if his wound hurt.

She looked at the phone, and Kennedy looked at her.

Kennedy was unhappy at that.

Was he that unimportant? At that thought, Kennedy snorted.

Hearing that, Alice subconsciously raised her head, only to find Kennedy got cold sweat and a pale face. She was scared, put down the phone and ran over.

“What's the matter with you? The wound goes worse? I'll call the doctor at once!”

With that, Alice turned to call a doctor, but was stopped by Kennedy, “Don't.”

Alice looked back, “Aren’t you hurt? Why not call the doctor? We don't know what will happen to the wound. I'll get the doctor to take care of it.”

She didn't give him a chance to say no. She quickly got out of the ward and brought the doctor.

His wound was serious. The doctor heard that he might have other symptoms, so he came to give Kennedy examination and then he said with a frown, “What is going on? I have taken care of the wounds before. How can it get worse? What did you do?”

Hearing that, Alice thought of what Kennedy did, with her face changed. Sure enough, those moves made his wound worse, but he was calm, as if he didn't care about his wounds.

Seeing that neither of them spoke, the doctor took a glance at them and said, “I will deal with it now, but you have to lie on your stomach when you sleep and avoid touching and pulling the wound, lest lead to wound worsen again. This is a serious wound that needs to be taken care of for some time. If it happens too often and makes the wound worse, don't blame me for not reminding you.”

The doctor had made it clear. Alice sure understood it and nodded, “Ok, doctor, I will remember it and remind him.”

The doctor had finished dealing with the wound. He found that Kennedy had been fixing his eyes on Alice, so he thought they were a couple. He said before he left, “Take good care of your husband, this injury is injury, if it cannot be healed completely, it will be troublesome.”
