The red light that had been on for three hours finally went off. Signaling that the surgery has finally been completed.

New ER surgeon Emma Lang walked out, took off her medical gloves and mask, and threw them into the trash can.

The resident surgeon next to her handed her the soap. "Dr. Lang, thank God you are the head surgeon for this case. If it was another doctor, the patient might've died."
