Good news came one after another on this day. Unexpected good news came before she could digest it. What a good sign!
Riley picked up the teacup and took a sip. With a sneer at the corners of her mouth, she had already imagined the facial expression on Vivian's hateful face in her heart.
Leaning against the sofa, Maggie received a call from Riley ten minutes ago. How could Riley have the nerve to ask her to wait for her here?
"Sorry, I'm late." Riley took off her sunglasses, stroked her dress, and sat on the sofa like a gentlewoman.
"I won't beat around the bush. Do you want to do something if you are paid?" Asked Riley.
"It depends. I'm busy with movie shooting now. If it's not a big deal, I can help, but..." Maggie answered with hesitation.
"Don't worry. It's just a piece of cake for you." Riley said confidently with a smile. She put a check in front of Maggie. This number was absolutely attractive. She strongly believed that Maggie would take it!
"What's the plan?" As expected, Maggie took the check immediately after reading the number on it.
Riley said confidently, "You know Austin Lu, do you? The man I asked you to work for me last time. This time I want you to cooperate with me. I'll be on the lookout for you, you need to bring him into the room."
"Didn't I say that I could do nothing but selling my body?" Maggie was not happy when hearing her plan.
Seeing that Maggie was about to take the check out of her bag, Riley hurriedly reached out her hand to stop her.
"Are you really stupid? As long as you stay with him in the room for one night and make him believe what happened between you and him, I don't care what means you use. I just want the result. Besides, you can find a substitute for him."
Riley raised her eyebrows and observed Maggie's subtle expression carefully.
"Austin is a good man. He will be responsible for you. Why do you pretend to be pure? It's just to keep that thin thing. Now you are really conservative. There are not many people as pure as you in the society..." Riley mocked at her.
"I see." Maggie rudely interrupted Riley's arrogant words. She already had a plan in her mind.
"It's good that you understand. I will tell you our detailed plan tonight. Failure is not allowed!"
"Deal."
Looking at Riley's receding figure, Maggie's eyes had a flash of coldness.
In the office.
"Mr. CEO, there is a dinner party with Mr. Lim tonight. Would you like to attend it?" The assistant stood aside respectfully and asked softly.
"Okay." Riley followed them. When the two of them arrived at the corner of the stairs, they couldn't see each other's face, but talked to each other tacitly.
"Listen to me later. Ask her to come on stage. Remember to let her be the last one to play, and the light must be the brightest!" Riley sneered and said softly.
"Okay, okay. I know what you mean, Ms. Riley. I won't let you down then!" The manager said while grabbing the door to check if there was anyone else, afraid of being eavesdropped.
"Okay, go ahead with your work. I see that your neck has reached the door."
Hearing Riley's joke, the manager chuckled, nodded, and then walked out of the door.
Riley walked out of the room without hesitation and sneaked into the monitoring room. She saw the young man sleeping inside and waking up from the rustling noises from the intercom from time to time.
"Damn it! Why don't you let me sleep a little longer?" The security guard murmured, rubbing his sleepy eyes. Riley was worried about how to work on it.
She had to turn off the monitor in the right direction of the room, or else the evidence would be taken! Now she was walking on the stairs, not afraid of being caught. But the more minutes the surveillance video was on, the more worried she was getting.
Seeing that it was too late, Riley stretched out her head and asked softly, "Hello, may I ask the way?"
The security guard was awakened by this soft voice. He thought it was a dream again. He rubbed his head and saw the woman standing aside. Her long hair was fluttering, and she was wearing a bare vest short skirt, staring at him.
