“I'll take over for you at work tomorrow, Mom,’ Emilia said after a brief pause.

“Huh? Why?”

Miranda asked as she had no idea why Emilia would say that all of a sudden.

Emilia didn't reply and went back to playing with her phone.

“She changed so much that I couldn't recognize her at first. Her personality has changed a lot as well,” Christina continued.

After Sebastian left, Nathaniel massaged his forehead and gave Francis a call.

The two arranged a meetup over the phone.

Arriving at the meetup location, Francis took his sunglasses off and asked, “So, what did you want to see me about?”
