Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit novel Chapter 70

“...Okay,” Ethan responded.

After getting his reply, Mable’s hands hung powerlessly. She had used up all her strength to utter those words.

Ethan was about to go downstairs when the bedroom door was pushed open.

Next, Blair walked in with a cold aura.

It was raining, and Mable did not have her phone with her. He chased after her as he was worried about her.

Afterward, he saw a man carrying her into the car.

It was the same man she met in the afternoon.

Blair suppressed his urge to punch Ethan. He looked past him and fixed his gaze on Mable lying on the bed.

She was drenched, her face was pale, and she was trembling as if she was enduring great pain.

“Mable!”

Seeing Mable in such a state, Blair cast his anger aside and rushed over.

“Mable! Mable!”

“Mmph!”

Mable twitched as soon as Blair gripped her hand.

‘It hurts so much!’

“Master Blair, you—”

Ethan tried to step forward to stop Blair but was pushed away.

“Ethan Miller, how dare you touch her?!”

Ethan clenched his fists. “Master Blair, I didn’t hurt Mable. She… caught a cold from the rain.”

As Blair carried Mable, he warned Ethan, “Stay away from her!”

After that, he left with Mable.

Once they returned to the Royal View Villa, Blair asked someone to call the family doctor.

Mable stopped him in a hoarse voice. “No need. Dr. Miller… checked on me. I’ll be fine… once I’ve rested for a night.”

Blair ignored her and still had someone call the doctor.

“Your body is freezing. Are you cold?”

Blair removed her drenched clothes and prepared hot water in the bathtub. He carried her and placed her inside.

Then, he hugged her from behind and let her lean against his chest. He rested his chin on top of her head and rubbed gently.

“Feeling better?”

“Mm…” Mable responded softly.

She was conscious but kept her eyes closed.
