Chapter 1177 Sherry grimaced. How could she have forgotten? She was here to be a servant now.

She instinctively snuck a look at Hailey's collar.

Sherry asked, "Hey Hailey, what rank are you?" Hailey cocked an eyebrow curiously and answered, "I'm a level two staff."

"Hey, that's notso bad." Hailey snorted disinterestedly then fixed a long look on Sherry's face, "Why is your face so red? Are you sick?" Sherry put a hand to her forehead.

She was burning up.

She must have caught a fever.

"I guess I caught a cold.

I'll be fine after I get some rest." Sherry smiled and asked, "Hailey, do you have anything to eat?"

Her stomach was growling andshe barely had any strength to lift a muscle.

She had to find something to eat as soon as possible.

Hailey frowned, "The only place we can get food around here is at the cafeteria but we can only eat there atthe appointed time.

You're not allowed to bring food back into the rooms." A thought suddenly occurred to her as she offered, "But I can help you get somemedicine from Emerence." Sherry sighed softly, "Okay, that'll do." Hailey was very efficient and returned very shortly after with the medicine she mentioned.

Sherry took two pills and drank them with two glasses of hot water.

They seemed to offer immediate relief, she could feel her head getting lighter, although there was still the issue with her growling stomach that she hadto address.

Hailey had already gone to the cafeteria for dinner and she was about to go on duty very soon, so there was not a chance of her sneaking insome food for her.

Sherry sighed and bid farewell to Hailey.

After that, she went to the cafeteria on her own.

There were several people eating there when she arrived.

She recognized two of them as security guards.

Sherry was about to step into the cafeteria when Emerence appeared out of nowhere and cut her off.

She had suddenly popped out from behind the entrance and spooked her.

Sherry gently thumped her chest to calm herself down, then she flashed a friendly smile and greeted her, "Hey Aunt Emerence,it's a fine night, isn't it?" Emerence sized her up and down with a stern expression before stating, "The master forbade you from eating for a day.

Why don't you come back here tomorrow morning?" Sherry hurriedly explained, "I wasn't going to eat.

I was just walking around." Emerence was not convinced , "You can't loiter around here, so go back to your roomright now." TE Sherry grimaced and slowly moved away.

Without any warning, she suddenly cried out in the direction of the two security guards she recognized," Hey, youtwo handsome guys over there, please bring me two chicken drumsticks when you leave!" 1 T The two security guards turned back in unison.

They cast a brief, uninterested look at Sherry before turning their attention back to their meal, as if she was completely invisibleto them.

Emerence continued to stand in front of the door like a totem pole.

She was not going to let Sherry in.

Sherry drew a long sigh before limping back to her room.
