When Brielle woke up and caught sight of the ceiling, she paused for a moment. Why did it look so familiar?

A hand was draped across her waist, and she was still nestled in his embrace. Her phone buzzed on the nightstand, flashing a call from the bigwigs at Stellar Stage Entertainment, announcing it was time to sign the official contract for her streaming gig.

King hugged her tightly, then let go. "I'd love to, but I've got to sort out the luggage from yesterday. Come back soon."

Brielle's cheeks flushed as she feigned nonchalance. "Okay, wait for me at home."

She emphasized "at home," feeling a sense of belonging despite her initial discomfort with the decor. But after spending a night here, it felt right.

Rushing out, she bumped into Isaac in the yard, busy with the lanterns. He seemed to have a thing for these traditional Australian decorations. Her heart melted on the spot.

She rushed over and scooped him up. "If you like these lanterns, we can hang more for New Year's."

Isaac's eyes sparkled, his cheeks flushing with excitement. "Really?"
