Chase, keeping his expression neutral, took a screenshot of the message and sent it to Dustin.
"Hey man, how long do you think it'll take for me to win her over?"
Dustin nearly spit out his drink when he saw the message. He turned and gave Keiran, who was sitting quietly beside him, a weird look.
"This guy must be missing the romance gene to say something like that," he thought.
Then another message from Chase popped up.
"Seriously, bro, reply. I'm freezing over here."
Dustin chuckled and replied, "Maybe try warming up with some hot water?"
After sending the message, he put his phone down and continued to stare at the coffee table, which was covered with bottles of booze. King, sitting next to him, looked anxious.
"What are we gonna do? Come on, you gotta think of something."
Dustin, known as North America's top ladies' man, had a legendary playbook for wooing women. Surely, he could come up with a proposal that would sweep Brielle off her feet.
Brielle's memory was almost fully restored, she knew about her child, and Max was about to come back into the picture.
King was getting restless, eager to pop the question before Max could swoop in and steal his thunder.
