Michael had just made it to the upper floor when the door to the old Dorsey mansion swung open. Antonio's laid-back demeanor flipped the moment he saw the masked figure standing at the entrance. He sprang up from the sofa, giving a slight nod of respect.
"Sir, you're here," he said.
The man sauntered to the middle of the room and settled on the couch like he owned the place. Antonio quickly signaled for someone to bring a cup of tea, his actions careful and respectful.
The man picked up the cup but didn't drink. Instead, he let out a soft chuckle. "So, how does it feel?" he asked, referring to Antonio's new role as the heir to the Dorsey legacy.
Antonio's face lit up with excitement, his cheeks flushing red. He felt like he could use every wonderful word in the dictionary to describe his joy.
"Absolutely incredible," he said breathlessly. "Sir, I owe it all to you. I can't thank you enough."
Antonio felt like bowing down and kissing the man's shoes. Everything he had ever wanted was now his, all thanks to this man. It felt like a dream.
Even Alivia, who never gave him the time of day before, now had to follow his lead and rely on him. Antonio felt like he was on cloud nine, able to control the fates of others with a simple conversation.
This man had given him everything, and Antonio was ready to put him on a pedestal and worship him. Max and Michael were nothing compared to this man.
To Antonio, he was a god, especially after seeing how he manipulated everyone in their circle. Antonio felt lucky to have aligned himself with such a powerful figure.
The man sat on the sofa, his lashes lifting slightly beneath his mask. He surveyed the Dorsey household with a mocking smile.
"As long as you're happy," he said.
