This made the king even happier, as she reminded him so much of Anastasia from the past. Her appearance, behavior, and even personality were almost identical. Had he not just been crowned and his position still unstable, he wouldn't have let her suffer such a fate.

"If Your Majesty likes it, I can get another bowl," suggested Arabella, pulling him out of his ponderings and making him smile involuntarily at her animated spirit.

Soon, she came back holding a fresh bowl of porridge. She genuinely cared about his health as he was vital in her quest to gather power and avenge her father's murder and her clan's destruction. Luckily, everyone wished for King Gawain I to be alive, but it was saddening that no one wanted him to live forever.

As she placed the bowl on the table, Arabella's eyes darted to the incense burner, which glowed purple not far away.
