Stella had heard a few perfumers talking about olfactory fatigue in the pantry.

She learned that when one smelled various fragrances for too long, the sense of smell would weaken, so they would not continuously smell fragrances for more than three hours a day.

She then looked at the time and found out that it had been two and a half hours since they started. Grace was not a professional perfumer, so two and a half hours should make her sense of smell less sensitive.

But seeing Grace’s hesitation, Stella became nervous, fearing that her plan would fail.

“I’m starting to get tired of the ones I’ve been using. I want to try something new to make myself feel younger.

“Cheeky boy, you have such a sweet tongue.

“I have my eyes on two perfumes now, but I just can’t decide.

“Buy both?” Grace chuckled. “It’s not your money; of course you’d say that.

“It’s not that I can’t afford them, but I just don’t want to buy something I won’t use. Your grandmother will nag me about it, and your father will do the same thing when she’s done. I just can’t take it.
