Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 265

"Who is that person? I'll have someone check him out." Justin was still worried.

Rebecca shook her head resignedly. "Stop overthinking. We have a meeting. It's almost time. Let's go."

As she spoke, Rebecca put down her glass. She took her notebook and files and walked out of the office.

Justin frowned and looked at Rebecca's back. He had to put this matter aside for the time being and go to the meeting.

For the next few days, Rebecca and Adam did not meet, nor did they contact each other. Rebecca didn't care about Adam's affairs. However, on this day, when Rebecca returned to the Silver Ridge Residence from work late at night, she saw Adam sitting on the carpet in front of the coffee table and typing fast on the computer the moment she opened the door.

Adam heard the sound from the door and looked over. When his eyes met Rebecca's, he smiled meaningfully.

Rebecca couldn't understand what he was smiling and didn't bother to probe. She closed the door, changed her shoes, and went to the bedroom.

"Are you hungry? I'll get you something to eat," Just as Rebecca walked through the living room and was about to enter the bedroom, Adam said to her in a deep voice.

Rebecca shook her head and said without looking back, "No, thank you!"

Adam was a bit disappointed when Rebecca ignored him, but he did not say anything more.

That night, they no longer talked to each other. On the next morning, Rebecca went to the Capen Group after having breakfast.

Rebecca had too many things to deal with in the Capen Group. She and Justin didn't have weekends.

Adam ate the breakfast Rebecca made, cleaned up, and washed the dishes. Then, he took out his phone and called his assistant.

When Rebecca arrived at the Capen Group, it was still early. She had done some work. When it was almost nine o'clock in the morning, Mr. Zeeman told her and Justin that their new raw materials had passed all the engineering and quality tests and were about to start production on a large scale. However, the new suppliers refused to cooperate with them anymore.

"The employees from the warehouse said that we had run out of stock materials. We will be out of stock from tomorrow on, and the related projects had to stop until we have new materials in." Mr. Zeeman seemed to have difficulties saying these.

"Then stop," Justin said to Mr. Zeeman without hesitation.

At such a time, he had no choice but to beg Adam, give in to Adam, and let Rebecca go.

However, he would never give in to Adam, nor would he let Rebecca go.

"The clients..."

"Call them and see if they can forgive us. If not, terminate the contracts and compensate them," Justin ordered.

Rebecca sat by and looked at Justin, keeping silent. It was not until Mr. Zeeman left that she said, "If this continues, our company will not be able to handle it sooner or later."
