"Thank you" he states as he takes a sip of it, satisfied of the perfection of its taste. "Then I'll be excusing my-". "Wait" he interfered. "I'll be taking a bit of your time, Miss Fae" he said standing up, taking a quarter of the papers and placing it on her arms.
"Help me sort out these papers, then you may go" he exclaims before sitting back down. Confused, she didn't utter a word but instead followed his orders. Sitting on the couch and doing her work.
-
"Finally..." Liam yawned, stretching as he leaves his chair, it's already past 7. 'She fell asleep? She's supposed to be working' he thought, walking towards her and sitting on the couch beside her.
Grabbing the piles of paper, he saw it all considered done. "Huh... She's good at this" he muttered, putting the papers back down and staring at her sleeping face.
Reaching for her hair, he suddenly felt a hand holding his, stopping him from what he is about to do. He looked down, seeing her wide awake, confused of what's happening.
"It's... not what you think" he quickly stood up, looking elsewhere, his hand covering his mouth. She blinked, processing of what's going on. "Knock knock" the duo snapped from their moment and looked at the opening door.
"Sir Liam, the documents are done" Evalyn states, entering as she puts the papers on her boss' desk. "Alright, you may go. Miss Fae, sorry for taking your time" he exclaims, going back to his chair.
"Then we shall excuse ourselves" Fae bows her head as she and her friend leave the office. "Let's go, Jax said he's picking us up" Evalyn says, linking arms with her friend, tired of work.
"Alright" Fae answers, the duo going to the parking lot.
-
"You're here" Jax states, opening the car door for the girls to enter. "What brings you here, picking us up and all" Evalyn asks, sitting after her friend and closing the door afterwards.
"We have some things to discuss. I'll tell you on the way"
