My Assassin's Void Heart novel Chapter 50

After Liam Ghate disappeared in her line of sight, she then brought out her phone. "Fae! You finally called" Evalyn's voice rang on the other side of the phone.

"Evie, I will be back tomorrow. I'll be sleeping here for the night" she claimed. "What do you mean here?" her friend asks. "Devine Hotel" she answers. "Alright, then take care" she says as Fae hang up, shoving her phone back into her pocket.

She then entered the hotel, less people are here, that's good. She then went towards the elevator, passing by the greeting staffs. She sure is glad her father don't allow any guests on the top floor, just the owner.

She then entered the elevator, automatically closing afterwards. Having eaten breakfast, she won't have to worry about being hungry for a while. 'I wonder if he's here...' she thought, waiting for the elevator to arrive at a certain floor.

She was snapped by her deep thoughts when the elevator alarmed, her walking out before it closes and goes back down. Arriving in front of a certain room, she knocked before opening it.

Peeking inside, she saw no traces of her father. Guess he went early for work. Oh well, it's time she go to her room and take a nap. Observing someone early in the morning sure is tiring.

"Hey bro, do you have miss Fae's interview paper?" Kristan asks, rummaging through the piles of paper in a box he just took out from a cabinet.

"There's lots of staffs here, how would I know where it is" Liam answers, flipping though the papers. "Fine, then do you at least know where she lives??" he asks, puting the box back.

He got silent. "You know! You traitor!! Tell me" he runs towards him, pushing him to spill the beans. Silence was what he acquired as an answer.

"Fine! Then I'll do it myself!" he huffs, going to where the boxes are again and getting the latest one.

Minutes passed after speed searching and his actions paid off at last. He smirked, suddenly putting back the scattered papers and taking a look at a certain one.

"Uh huh...." he took out his phone and with a few taps on his screen, the problem was solved. He then put the paper on the box and to the shelf.
