My dear lawyer novel Chapter 361

At the first sight of Roe, she was very interested in this cute kid. After a few words, she felt surprised that this little kid was not common at all, as he was very popular among adults.

She intended to play with the little Roe, but her phone rang. Roe just stood beside her, and said nothing, which showed he was well brought up. And this enhanced her fondness in him.

When the phone was getting through, a deep male voice came out.

“Daisy, have you arrived at the hospital? Is there anything wrong with you on your way here? I am so worried about you.”

Roe knew that this beautiful girl was Daisy. And the man who called her was Six-ears.

Daisy said in a sorry tone, “Sorry, I just arrived at the hospital, and saw a cute little kid. I just chatted with him for a while. Are you expecting me?”

Six-ears said with relief, “I am OK. I am just worried about you. Now, I feel better knowing that you are OK. By the way, what kind of kid makes you so interested? I also want to see him.”

Daisy smiled and said, “I have no idea whose kid he is. I am afraid that he will be in peril, because he was standing on the corridor alone. So I came over to check on him. After chatting with him, I found he was really a cute boy. He said his name was Roe. I know nothing else about him. I just had a happy time with him.”

Pausing for a while, Six-ears said, “What if he encounters some danger? Since he is alone in the hospital, you need to be with him, lest he be kidnapped by others. Fine, you come to see me later.”

Daisy’s eyes were filled with warmth, “I know you are kind-hearted, even though you look like a bad guy.”

Six-ears just smiled a little, then said, “Thank you for your kind words. Just play with Roe right now, and come to me after sending him back to his ward.”

Daisy responded with an “OK” and put down the phone. Then she asked Roe, smiling, “Little Roe, where do you want to go and play? I can take you there.”

Roe was just a child, so he let his defense loose very soon even though he did not trust Daisy at the very beginning. Seeing that Daisy was beautiful and mild, he said after thinking for a while, “I do not know where to go. My mom and dad went out to have lunch. They might come back after a long time. I just want to go out and play for a while.”

He said with fears, because he was going to sneak out secretly. He had a sense of guilt in his mind.

Then Daisy said, “OK. Let me take you to the restaurant across the street, is it OK?”

Roe rubbed his hands together, not daring to look into Daisy’s eyes. He said in a low voice, “But I have no money. I heard that boys should pay if he is going to eat with a girl. I will feel embarrassed if a girl is going to pay the bill for me.”

Tapping her forehead again, Daisy was wondering from whom Roe learned these things. But looking at his serious face, he seemed to be cuter.

She held roe’s hand, smiling, and said, “Roe is really a good boy. But you are still a kid, it should be my treat. When you grow up, you can treat me. Is it OK?”

Blinking his eyes, Roe said still in a low voice, “When I grow up, you will be old.”

Daisy became speechless. She did not know how precocious this little boy was. So she just held Roe’s hand and went to a western-style restaurant on the other side of the street.

In a ward on the fifth floor, Six-ears was staring at Daisy and Roe, who were standing at the door of LIKA Hospital. Fierceness flashed in his eyes, it seemed like he was thinking aloud, “For a very long time, I have not got a chance to carry out my plan. It turns out that I should have found William’s son without any effort. This is what we say destiny. William, I want you to have a taste of the pain to lose your son.”
