My dear lawyer novel Chapter 451

John didn't reply Vivian, instead he reached out his hands to hold hers.

Vivian shivered and looked up at him.

John's eyes were filled with sincerity, expectation, and infinite love. He answered, "It's true that I care about my parents' thought. But Vivi, I hope you and I can be together to win their support."

John was good at gasping chances as if he already knew what Vivi would say.

"John, are you sure?" Vivian said when biting her lip, "What if their support requires a lifetime? Your parents endured all sorts of hardships to raise you up and looked forward to a marriage between the families of similar backgrounds. Are you sure it's worthwhile to be with me?"

"Of course, you worth it." John answered firmly.

Vivian was moved.

There was not a single girl who wouldn't be moved by these words.

Vivian lowered her head, "We haven't met for four years. What if you are fond of me simply because of your past affection? Falling in love at first sight doesn't mean we can accompany each other for a lifetime. Maybe you are just deceived by your fancy. Actually, I am not that perfect as you think…"

"Vivi. I have already grown up. I know exactly what I feel about you. You can refuse me, but don’t doubt my love for you." John grabbed Vivian's hands more tightly.

A firm smile finally appeared on Vivian's face.

"Ok. I would like to say yes."

John was stunned.

He suddenly couldn't react to what happened because this 'yes' meant too much for him.

He starred at Vivian and said in a daze, "Vivi, do you mean…well…"

"Yes. I mean what you think I mean." Vivian flushed.

She felt it both celebrating and heartbreaking.

In the world, there was a great deal of people who had a crush on somebody and experienced hardships when pursing their love.

John reassured excitedly with Vivian, "So you mean…you agree to marry me?"

Vivian shook her heads in a resigned look, "Isn't that obvious?"

"Great. That's great!" John suddenly stood up and said happily.

Vivian didn't realize what happened when she was held up by John and she was in the air. Regardless of the fact that they were under public gaze, he swung her in circles while hugging her excitedly.

Vivian's face glowed with delight.

Seeing this, the restaurant was in a jubilant atmosphere and people were cheering up for them.

John smiled merrily and expressed his gratitude to everyone present.

In the hidden but bustling place, they hugged enthusiastically in a burst of celebration, immersed in the voice of shutters.

In the evening, Vivian and John returned to their apartment. A sweet atmosphere surrounded them. They were like any lovebirds who were passionately in love.

However, John didn't do anything to cross the boundary because Vivian had just admitted to be his girlfriend.

Instead, after they returned, John was anxious to discuss their wedding day.

"Vivi. I think we should talk about when to get marry. I want to take you to a place this weekend." John said in a mysterious tone.

Vivian was stupefied and looked at him doubtfully, "What place?"

She knew what John wanted to do when they drove straight to the mall and went into the jewelry shop on the third floor.

Was John going to take her to pick up a ring?

"John. You told me we will get the marriage license first and simplified the rest of the wedding procedures." Vivian opened her mouth. She knew John's bankcard didn't have much money left.

His other cards and any cards related to the He Family were frozen by his father.

Vivian knew this store. It was the well-known jewelry store famous for its unique design. Every time it released a new product, many people would rush to buy it. It had no flaws except its high price.

John petted her hands to comfort her, "We can simplify all the other procedures, but not the wedding ring."

"But we don't have to buy it here. I remember there are several other stores in the second floor, maybe we can…" Vivian furled her lips and held his hands.

John shook his head and said, "We will just get in and have a look. If you don't like it, we will go to the other stores. Vivi, I can afford a ring!"

John said with a smile. He knew the hidden meaning in Vivian's words.

Vivian bit her lip and could only follow him.

The He Family was not happy after John left. Mr. Sam was ill and Mrs. Reina often got angry. She hadn't got out to play cards with others.

Therefore, when Haylee called, Mrs. Reina immediately got outside.

"Aunt, you don't look well. Do you feel uncomfortable?" Haylee looked at her worriedly.

Mrs. Reina smiled and shook her head, "I didn't sleep well last night. I am getting old and cannot compare with your young people. You're energetic and won't get exhausted even if you haven't slept for a night."

"You look young and pretty." Haylee smiled.
