"What did I just do?" Emma looked at the nurse.
The nurse blushed, looked at her with a smile, and said, "I saw you kissing him. He is so handsome! You are so lucky..."
Kiss?
Emma's mind was wandering. Her eyes were a little dull because of a high fever.
Seeing Emma who was lying down weakly, the nurse helped her adjust the needle in her arm again, "I have to let the doctor give you a fever-reducing intravenous drip. You can’t be like this..."
Emma was thinking about that matter. She probably didn't hear what the nurse said, so she only nodded dumbly.
The nurse put away the thermometer, turned and walked towards the door.
When she reached the door, she suddenly turned back. Staring at Emma in astonishment, she asked, "I just remembered it. Isn't he your uncle?"
Emma was speechless.
On the first floor.
In the color ultrasonic room, Kate was lying under the instrument and undergoing the examination.
Outside the room, Ivan was sitting in the waiting area. After a while, he got up and walked towards the bathroom not far away.
After peeing, he stood alone in front of the sink, washing his hands gracefully.
Someone came out from behind. Soon, there was a pair of slender hands next to him.
The man turned on the faucet and scrubbed his hands carefully. His movements looked so elegant, and didn’t splash any water on the marble on the sink.
Following these perfect hands, Ivan raised his head and looked in the mirror in front of him.
Just a glance, his movements stopped.
They looked at each other in the mirror. Ivan was somewhat surprised, but Sean was not affected at all. With an indifferent face, he turned his gaze back and walked in the direction of the hand dryer.
The noise of the hand dryer sounded. Ivan turned his head to look at Sean, but what Sean left him was just a back.
Ivan didn't know why he always felt that the gaze Sean looked at him was indifferent, but not friendly.
Sean made his hands dry, answered the phone by the way, and strode out of the bathroom.
Ivan suddenly remembered something. Before he could completely dry his hands, he had already strode out.
In front of the induction door of the emergency room, Sean had already stepped one of his leg out of the door.
Ivan just wanted to call his name, but was stopped by Kate, who had just come out of the color ultrasound room.
Kate stood behind him with the report in her hands. She followed his gaze towards the door, and asked, "Ivan, what are you looking at?"
...
Ivan turned around. His look was a little complicated.
He looked down at the report in Kate's hand and asked, "How is it?"
Kate blushed, and put the report behind her, "The doctor said there was nothing wrong with me. It’s just irregular menstruation, not bleeding. I overthought it..."
Ivan nodded, "Well. Let's go back."
