After Camille's words, her eyes naturally turned to Sienna. Sienna thought for a moment, then said calmly, "I think, maybe you don't need to? It felt a bit awkward when she came to care about you. Honestly, I still don't quite understand why she wanted to care about you."
"I don't really understand either. So, for things we can't figure out, should we just stop thinking about them?" Camille responded, her expression slightly troubled.
The two exchanged a glance, and Sienna suddenly whispered, "Why don't you go and give her some encouragement? After all, we shouldn't let people say we're petty, right? It's just a few words, nothing extraordinary."
Camille nodded gently, uttered a low "hm," and followed Sienna's suggestion.
Camille left the office and went to Crystal's lounge. Since she didn't know where Crystal's lounge was, she had to ask Kian.
Kian had to check, but he quickly provided her with the information.
Camille arrived at the door of Crystal's lounge. Instead of immediately knocking, she took a deep breath before raising her hand to tap on the door.
Crystal's assistant opened the door, apparently recognizing Camille and aware of her acquaintance with Crystal. The assistant's expression softened into a gentle smile, "Hello, Mr. Armstrong!"
After saying that, she immediately turned back to Crystal in the lounge, "Mr. Armstrong is here."
Crystal appeared at the lounge door the next second. She quickly greeted Camille, "Come in and have a seat!"
Extending her hand to pull Camille inside, Crystal and Camille were not particularly close friends. They had only met a few times, and due to the previous assistant recruitment, Crystal had some understanding of Camille. Their relationship shouldn't be this intimate. Yet, in Crystal's eyes, it seemed like they were very familiar friends. Crystal was overly affectionate towards Camille, raising more questions in Camille's mind. If it were someone else, Camille might have thought the person had ulterior motives. However, with Crystal, although Camille had similar thoughts initially, she later wondered if Crystal genuinely liked her, explaining her sincere treatment.
While Camille pondered, Crystal had already pulled her into the lounge and sat her down.
Crystal got a cup of coffee for Camille, saying, "I just bought it. Haven't had a sip yet."
Camille reached out to take it, offering a faint smile, "Thank you."
Crystal said, "No need to be polite. We're friends, right? Friends don't need such formalities, do they?"
Camille nodded gently, "Yes, you're right."
Having said that, Crystal's face instantly lit up with a smile, seemingly happy that Camille spoke this way.
In the lounge, besides the two chatting on the sofa, others were busy with their own tasks and hadn't noticed this side of the room.
Camille then went straight to the point, asking, "How do you feel about the competition?"
Instead of answering, Crystal asked back, "Are you concerned about my competition this time?"
Camille nodded slightly, admitting it.
Crystal said, "I think it went well. But, as always, it depends on what the judges say, right? By the way, how is the designer from Shai? Did they do well?"
Camille replied, "They did quite well."
