Chapter 1192: Worried

Camille didn't say a word. She simply remained silent, staring ahead, as the police knocked on the door and entered. Soon, they came out with Eileen and Ayan from inside.

However, Eileen was taken away in a police car, while Ayan stood at the doorway, watching her get into the car. Eileen's emotions were naturally very agitated, but the police didn't give her any chance and quickly closed the door.

The police stood in front of Ayan, saying something that Camille couldn't hear. Ayan nodded in response, and then watched as the police got into the car and drove away. Camille told Ayan about following him all the way from Darkmoor to here. In truth, she was really worried and didn't know what to do.

After listening, Ayan smiled faintly and then pulled her into his arms. He whispered, "It's my fault. I should have told you in advance. It just happened so suddenly, and I was afraid you would worry, so I planned to tell you after it was resolved."

Camille snorted softly, her tone indifferent. "You just didn't want me to know. You do dangerous things without telling me. Do you know that I misunderstood just now? My mind was filled with all sorts of wild thoughts."

"Aren't you afraid that I would barge in?"

Camille suddenly asked.

Ayan was also taken aback, seriously considering it for a moment before answering, "Yes, I'm afraid. If you had really barged in, today's plan would probably have been ruined."

Ayan said that he and Eileen were having dinner in a private room at Darkmoor, but he didn't really know what Eileen's intentions were.
