My Ex-husband Begs Me Back (Ayan and Camille) novel Chapter 664

Chapter 664 Guilt

Hearing a knock on the door, the two also quickly opened their eyes. Camille looked at him in his arms, feeling his breath and temperature. Then she realized that she had fallen asleep in his arms . Most importantly, it was still in the hospital bed.

She pursed her lips, her cheeks blushed, and her body froze instantly. She wanted to get up immediately but was held down by Ayan to prevent her from moving.

He spoke in a warm voice and asked, "Who?"

Kian's voice came from the door, "Mr. Simpson, I've brought you dinner."

"Hmm." Ayan just responded with a low voice and did not let Kian in. He lowered his eyes to stare at the woman in his arms and asked, "Sleep a little longer?"

Camille frowned and immediately refused, "No."

Then she hurriedly pushed Ayan away, sat up and put on her shoes while fixing her hair and adjusting her clothes.

Her reaction caused Ayan to frown less than pleased and ask without much emotion, "What's your hurry?"

"Be serious, it's not good to be seen later."

"How is that bad? I have to look at other people's expressions even with my own wife?"

The word of wife came out of his mouth and he did not feel any strange, but said with a righteously like it were true.

Camille just froze, and she looked at him impassively. In fact, she wanted to say something about their current relationship, but Ayan was still injured at the moment, so the words came to her mouth, yet she could not say it.

It would be a bit of a spoiler.

She lowered her eyes and stopped looking at him. She also stood up from the bed. She met Ayan's eyes and replied in a low voice: "I didn't ask you to look at other people's faces. It's just not good to do so right now. This is a hospital, not at home."

"It's okay at home?"

He asked, the corners of his mouth also emerged with a light smile, and the pair of dark eyes were also covered with delight. He kept looking at Camille in that way, not even blinking.

Camille hummed lightly without much emotion. Her voice was also nonchalant, "You think too much."

Ayan slowly retracted his smile and reached out to take her hand, but Camille avoided it outright, saying without much emotion, "Kian delivered you dinner, so I won't eat with you."

Ayan immediately wrinkled his brow and asked with a slight movement of his eyebrows, "What do you mean? Where are you going?"

"I'm going back to the Simpson's mansion. I miss Timmy."

Ayan snorted lightly, his profile handsome and cold: "So you just leave me, a patient who can't move and feels great pain, in the hospital?"

Camille looked at him, pursed her lips and said lightly: "Isn't Kian already here? You can have him here with you while you're eating, and I'm not ignoring you. I'm the one who was here over the night, and I just went back. I also made soup for you. Can't you see all this I'm doing?"

Ayan did not speak, perhaps because he also felt that his accusation was outrageous. He just stared at Camille without any expression.

Seeing that he had nothing more to say, Camille then continued, "I haven't been with Timmy for two days. Do you want to steal even this time from him? If you can bear it, you can ask Mom to take him to the hospital. The hospital just has more viruses anyway and nothing big deal, so what choice do you want to make?"

Camille whispered all the decisions to Ayan, but the words made Ayan realize something.

Obviously she had already decided, but still had to make him nod willingly, not only just that, but also make him nod while feeling guilty.

After all, he hadn't had a good time with Timmy for a few days, and coming to the hospital was definitely not an option, so he asked in a low voice, "Why don't I go back to the Simpson's mansion with you too?"
