My Ex-husband Begs Me Back (Ayan and Camille) novel Chapter 830

Chapter 830: Getting Personal

Kian went to handle Austin's affairs, and naturally, Ayan didn't mention it to Camille. As for what happened at Norman Group, Camille hadn't paid much attention. She had been busy with work, organizing the illustrations, and hardly had any free time to browse online news.

Besides, Norman Group wasn't in Hance City, so only business circles cared about it, along with the local residents and curious netizens.

So, it was normal for Camille to be unaware.

Just now, Camille suddenly remembered her discussion with Ayan about going to Dane City during breakfast. Ayan had said they would decide on the trip after Kian returned. So she asked what Kian was up to.

Ayan remained composed, facing Camille, and replied, "He's dealing with some matters. If everything goes smoothly, he should be back tonight."

"What is it? Is it something significant?"

She inquired, her curiosity getting the best of her.

The car had just reached the museum, and Ayan turned slightly to face Camille, saying calmly, "What exactly are you trying to find out? Hmm?"

"I'm not trying to find out anything. I'm just curious. If it's not a big deal, why did you send Kian personally?"

"It's not a major issue, just some trivial matters."

"Really?"

Camille clearly didn't believe it. If it wasn't anything important, Ayan would have been honest with her. But now, he was being evasive.

That clearly meant there was something, right?

Camille couldn't help but speculate and worry, but despite thinking about it, she couldn't be certain of what it was.

Camille pursed her lips and looked at Ayan with a probing gaze. She whispered, "Are you hiding something from me?"

Ayan reached out, gently pinching her cheek, his warm gaze fixed on her eyes. With a hint of amusement in his voice, he said, "If I were really hiding something from you, what would you do?"

He smiled mischievously, and the mischievous glint in his eyes was evident, as if he was waiting for Camille to fall into the trap he had set.

Camille didn't dare to give a direct answer to his question. Instead, she stared at him for a while before calmly saying, "Well, if you don't want to tell me, then I won't ask anymore."

After saying that, Camille genuinely stopped questioning.

Seeing her obedient demeanor, Ayan couldn't help but laugh. He lifted her chin with his hand and chuckled, "You really don't want to know?"

"Mmm, really."

"Is this you being angry?"

Looking at her expressionless face, Ayan felt an even stronger urge to laugh. He couldn't resist teasing her further.

Camille rolled her eyes, feeling utterly speechless. She replied indifferently, "If you don't want to tell me, even if I manage to squeeze it out of you, what's the point?"

Ayan said, "How would you know you can't get me to spill unless you give it a try? Hmm?!"

Camille let out a soft snort, "Forget it. Forcing something out won't make it sweet. If you're willing to tell me, you'll do so voluntarily. If you're not, even if I manage to pry it out, it won't be meaningful, right?"

Ayan sensed the teasing in her words, and his smile grew wider. He leaned in, wanting to kiss her, but Camille naturally evaded his advances by leaning back, avoiding the kiss.
