Once the idea occurred to Camille, she couldn't shake it off. Even when Ayan explained to the old Simpson and Fletcher Talia why they should prioritize having the wedding first in order to combine it with the remarriage proceedings, Camille didn't pay much attention.

"Are you upset because I suggested planning the wedding first?"

He asked softly, his expression tense and serious.

Camille gave a faint smile and said, "I'm not upset. Besides, I didn't say anything about when to handle the procedures, did I?"

Ayan frowned tightly. Her tone was different from her usual calm voice, and he could clearly sense it.

He glanced at Timmy on the bed and said in a low voice, "Can we talk outside? Timmy is asleep, and we might wake him up."

"I don't want to talk anymore. Let's just do as you suggested."

"Cami..."

"Alright, if you don't want to wake Timmy, let's drop the subject, okay? I didn't say anything, so why bother overthinking it?"
