The time she got out of the cafe was way earlier than she expected.

When she got into the car, Rosalie held the steering wheel without starting the engine. Her brain was messed up. After staying abroad for six years, she thought that she could be ignorant about whatever had happened back then.

Thinking of her infatuation with Byron back then, Rosalie bit her lower lip mockingly, thinking that she might still marry him shamelessly. Yet, the happier she was to marry him, the more miserable she became when she left him. Who would have imagined the only time they actually slept together after getting married for so long was the time she drugged him? Plus, she had to leave in her worst condition the next morning.
