Rosalie stood at the entrance of the kindergarten for quite a while, she barely recovered as she put away the tickets in her hand. She got in the car and returned to the research institute.

As soon as she entered the office, Xander called.

“The time is set for tonight. Will you be free on your end?”

Rosalie was still a little confused, when she heard this, she was stunned for a moment. Then, she remembered what Xander said when he came to visit yesterday.

On the other end, Xander had no answer from Rosalie, so he urged in a puzzled voice. “Miss Jacobs?

Everything okay? Is it because the time isn’t right for you?”

Rosalie snapped back to her senses. “Oh no, it’s nothing. Yes, I’m free tonight, I’ll be there on time.” Xander felt that her reaction seemed a little strange, but he could not say anything over the phone, so he simply gave some reminders before hanging up.

Rosalie was a little absent-minded all day because of what happened in the morning.

In the afternoon, as Rosalie thought of attending the banquet in the evening, she left work an hour earlier. She went home to freshen up out of respect for the doctors.

Seeing that it was almost time, Rosalie was about to go downstairs to attend the dinner when she received a call from Leon Martin.

“Where are you?” As soon as it was connected, Leon’s voice rang out.

Rosalie was puzzled. “At home, what’s up?”

Leon smiled warmly. “I’ll pick you up.”

Hearing this, Rosalie was stunned for a few seconds before she reacted. Leon must be one of the doctors who would work with them this time.

Realizing this, Rosalie’s eyes brightened, but she still refused with a smile. “No, it’s alright. I’ll just head there by myself. We’ll meet at the banquet.”
