Seeing his four identical cards and a side card, Sloan and the others felt a bit more at ease.
They couldn't believe that Samuel could get a four-of-a-kind on the first deal.
He was lucky indeed.
“Four of a kind. Not bad at all.” Ashlyn nodded.
Thinking she had bad cards, Sloan couldn't help but smirk, a glint of provocation and triumph in his eyes. “It's your turn to reveal your cards.”
Ashlyn blinked, a hint of amusement flashing in her beautiful eyes.
“Indeed, it's my turn to show my cards,” she said nonchalantly.
Almost everyone was anxiously eyeing the poker cards in her hand.
Spencer, especially, was a bit worried and somewhat nervous.
He was afraid that she'd lose, and the new energy project would have to be given away.
“So... what are your cards?” Sloan asked, feigning a light cough.
“It's nothing. See for yourself.” Ashlyn glanced at everyone, then revealed her cards.
The moment she revealed her cards, gently flipping them over, everyone's eyes widened in surprise.
Sloan's face stiffened, and his heart sank.
“How can this be? You actually...”
“I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I have a straight flush.”
Ashlyn's eyes sparkled, so enchanting that one couldn't help but lose themselves in them.
Samuel's face contorted as well.
This woman's luck is just too good to be true. A straight flush in the first round? I only have a four-of-a-kind. No! I am the King of Gambling, who has never been defeated. This is just the first round. There are two more rounds to go. I don't believe that this woman will continue to be this lucky.
Herald furrowed his brows. He hadn't expected Ashlyn to be so lucky.
