Chapter 426 The Order of Seniority
When Abbot finished speaking, Colin narrowed his pretty eyes.
Before he could answer, Abbot continued to provoke him and drawled lazily, "Colin, where are you?"
Colin showed a half-smile and said, "Why? Central Hospital's mortuary has lacked corpses recently?"
Abbot was stunned. He didn't understand what Colin meant, so he asked in confusion, "What are you driving at?"
Colin replied, "Judging from your tone, I guess you're courting death."
Abbot was speechless.
Hearing him keep silent, Colin sneered, "Are you a masochist? Why do you ask for reprimands every day?"
Hearing this, Abbot began to curse on the phone.
After they exchanged a few harsh words, Abbot was defeated as usual.
He took a deep breath to calm down, paused for a few seconds, and then said, "When will you come back?"
Colin smiled and replied with a question, asking, "Have you known Uncle Jadon is dating Aunt Carlotta?"
Abbot said, "It's hard to be unaware of it. My dad has even begun to choose the wedding date."
Colin raised his eyebrows slightly and said, "What?"
Abbot laughed, "My dad said Uncle Jadon has been single for a long time. Since he finally has a girlfriend now, we must hurry up to urge them to get married lest Aunt Carlotta regrets it."
Colin teased, "Has she agreed?"
Abbot said solemnly, "Not yet. They are going to the class reunion together tomorrow. I guess she will agree tomorrow."
Colin smiled, "I don't think so. I know her better than you do. Even if she wants to marry Uncle Jordan underneath, she won't agree easily."
Hearing this, Abbot choked. He kept silent with a frown for a while and then said, "Really?"
Colin replied, "Really."
Abbot fell silent again while Colin drove at a steady pace.
When the car got on the highway, Abbot coughed lightly and said, "Colin, we have been friends for many years. You will put in a good word for my uncle, right?"
Colin joked, "I can, but I don't want to do it."
Abbot snapped, "Why?"
Colin said, "It's a piece of cake for me to put in a good word for Uncle Jadon, But if they get married, Faye and I will have to call you cousin-in-law. At the thought of this, I feel..."
He deliberately paused here.
No matter how stupid Abbot was, he knew what Colin wanted to say next. After all, he had made it clear.
Abbot gritted his teeth and said with a fake smile, "You can still call me by my name!"
Colin retorted, "That won't work. We must be polite at the wedding."
Abbot asked, "What do you want?"
Colin replied, "Well, we can call each other according to our ages."
Abbot was speechless, thinking his current situation was like going for wool but coming home shorn.
