Chapter 461 Twists and Turns
When Maxwell finished speaking, Abbot leaned back in the seat and looked into the rear-view mirror.
When he saw the three commercial vehicles following them at a constant speed, he sneered, "They're following us very closely."
Hearing his words, the bodyguard sitting next to Maxwell said, "Mr. Carter, our people are waiting at the intersection ahead."
Abbot said, "Let them restrain and protect themselves. They just need to accompany Mr. Camden's people to the police station, stay there with them for two days, and let them know the special local conditions and customs in Cocanel."
The bodyguard responded, "Yes, Mr. Carter." Then, he took out his mobile phone and made a call to convey Abbot's words.
Hearing their conversation, Maxwell showed a gloomy face.
Abbot looked at him in the rearview mirror and asked, "Mr. Camden, are you satisfied with my arrangement?"
Maxwell said, "I want to meet Colin."
Abbot sneered, "There are many things you want to do. Do I have to meet all your requirements? Do you think I am Santa Claus?"
Maxwell was speechless.
At the same time, Lance was talking to Faye when his phone suddenly rang.
He glanced at the phone screen, looked up at Faye, and said, "It's Hank."
Faye said lightly, "He is calling you for Nylah."
Lance thought for a while and then answered the call under the gazes of Faye and Colin. As usual, he said with a frivolous smile, "Hi Hank, what's up?"
Hank said in a deep voice on the phone, "Have you returned to Cocanel?"
Lance replied, "Yes."
Hank paused for a second and asked directly, "Is Nylah in your hands?"
Lance laughed, "Have you planted a spy around me?"
Hank didn't deny it but said, "Don't forget you used to be my subordinate."
Lance replied, "I will never forget that I have worked for you for years."
Hank kept silent for a while and then said, "I know what you want. Let Nylah go, and I will send you the person who kidnapped Emmett."
Lance teased, "Hank, I want Maxwell. As soon as you send him over, I'll let her go."
Hank said in a calm voice, "Emmett's kidnapping has nothing to do with Maxwell. It's Brandon that is behind it."
Hearing this, Lance frowned.
Hank said, "Lance, we grew up together. You should know I have always regarded you as a friend."
