Chapter 480 The Accident

When Colin finished talking, Faye leaned into his arms naturally and smiled without saying a word.

In fact, Faye wasn't sure whether Rebecca liked Abbot or not.

After all, the feeling was the most unpredictable thing in the world.

Faye replied, "I hope that Rebecca would be happy."

Faye turned to look at Colin and said, "Like how you are treating me?"

Faye was standing in front of the closet and looking for her work outfit. Suddenly, Colin received a call from the Farrells' Mansion.

Colin said in a lukewarm tone, "When did that happen?"

The other party didn't know how to answer. Then, Colin sneered, "All right. I got it."

Hanging up the call, Colin touched the cigarette case in his pocket as he always did. After a long time, he took out a piece of chewing gum and played with it with his fingertips, but he didn't unwrap it.

Faye turned around to look at Colin's secretive expression. She walked to the bedside table, took out a pack of cigarettes, and handed it to him after she unwrapped it.

Colin raised his eyebrows lightly with confusion, "Huh?"

Faye continued, "Don't you want to smoke?"

Colin didn't take the cigarette. He put his hand on Faye's waist and put it in his arms. He lowered his head and smiled playfully, "How could you know me so well?"

Faye picked up a cigarette from the cigarette case and handed it to his lips, "What happened with the Farrells?"

Colin bit his lips lightly and answered, "Tiffany had a car accident."

Faye asked, "Was it planned?"

Colin replied, "It's definitely not an accident."

Faye pursed her lips slightly and thought of the text sent by Lance before she went to bed last night, which said, "Blaine is back."

Looking at Lance, who was pretending that everything was fine, Faye didn't debunk him despite she was struggling on the inside and said, "That's good."

Lance continued, "Don't think too much."

Faye responded, "Um."

After a brief chat with Lance, Faye drove to the office.

On her way, Faye sent a text to Jake by saying, "Tiffany will probably come to you for psychotherapy very soon."

Jake responded very quickly and said, "An appointment has been made."

Faye replied, "Keep the evidence."

Jake answered, "Okay."

When the car arrived at the office's building, Faye drove the car into the underground parking lot as usual. When she pushed the door to get out of the car, a man in black attire suddenly rushed behind her and hit her.

Faye frowned and stepped back subconsciously. The man in black attire forced an envelope into her hands. Then, he turned around, got into an inconspicuous car hurriedly, and drove away.

After Faye saw that car left, she took back her gaze and glanced at the envelope that had fallen onto the ground. She bent down to pick it up.

The envelope was nicely sealed with several layers of tape as if the person was worried that the contents in it would fall out.

Faye tried to disassemble it a few times but she failed. In the end, she cut it open with the knife that came with the keychain.

After Faye opened the envelope, she glanced at the contents. She frowned and froze instantly when she saw them.
