Chapter 484 The Culprit
Faye's attitude stunned the four bodyguards.
Seeing them keep silent, she retracted her gaze and said coldly, "What are you waiting for?"
The leader gave her a wary look and said solemnly, "This way, please."
Though he was talking to her politely, it was kidnapping.
They did not tie her up, but the other procedures were the same.
When she got into the van, one bodyguard even took out a black cloth to blindfold her and said, "Ms. Nash, sorry. But I need your cooperation."
Faye said indifferently, "I don't care."
After being blindfolded, she did not show the slightest panic but leaned back with a comfortable gesture.
Some people had a stronger sense of direction when their eyes were covered, and Faye happened to be one of them.
She had driven on this road a few times, so it was familiar to her. Judging from the direction the van was running in, she guessed the destination.
They did not go out of the city but ran directly into the downtown.
More than an hour later, Faye was taken out of the van.
Hearing echoes around, she guessed it was an underground parking lot.
"Ms. Nash, we've arrived. But before you meet our boss, you must give your phone to me."
Faye calmly answered, "It's in the right pocket of my suit jacket."
Hearing this, the bodyguard reached out to take it over and said, "I'm sorry."
Holding it in his hand, he weighed it and said, "What's the password? I need to make sure this is the mobile phone you usually use."
Faye said coldly, "Don't go too far."
The bodyguard fell silent.
After a few seconds of deadlock, the leader winked at the other three men and said in a deep voice, "Boss has lost his patience. Take her up."
Soon, Faye was pulled into an elevator.
As the elevator slowly ascended, the bodyguard standing beside her warned, "Ms. Nash, I advise you not to play any tricks."
Faye said, "I'm already here. What trick do you think I can play?"
The bodyguard said, "I hope this is your real thought."
Suddenly, the elevator doors opened with a ding, and a pair of hands abruptly pushed her back. Then, she stumbled out with a frown.
Fortunately, she was wearing flat shoes today. Otherwise, she would have fallen and made a fool of herself.
