She replied directly, “You have the wrong number.” 

“I didn’t dial the wrong number. Aren’t you feeling quite sad right now? Joe has abandoned you, shattering your dreams of luxury. You’re forced to watch him get engaged to someone else. Any woman would find that hard to accept,” the man said. 

Skylar halted in her tracks. “Who are you?”
