Chapter 1101
Skylar said, “Grandma Viola has left us for good, Joe. I’ll never see her again.”
Skylar felt a deep ache in her heart. According to Aiken, Viola had passed away peacefully.
Joe’s body stiffened at the news. Sensing his reaction, Skylar recounted everything she had heard from Aiken about Viola’s final moments.
Joe’s voice was heavy as he asked, “Are you sure it was Grandma Viola?”
“I’m certain. It was Grandma Viola.” Skylar nodded.
The image of Viola in the morgue was still vivid in Skylar’s mind. After a brief silence, Joe pulled her into his embrace. “Let’s go to the hotel first. We can think about how to handle
Grandma Viola’s funeral later.”
The situation surrounding the negative items was becoming increasingly complicated.
Viola’s passing had taken them both by surprise. However, Skylar’s well–being was the priority. Viola’s death was a significant blow to her.
Soon, they arrived at the hotel. It was a four–star establishment. Joe wore sunglasses as they entered, both stepping inside together.
The hotel room was tidy, with a few books and a pair of reading glasses neatly placed on the/
table.
A small bag was in the corner where the suitcase was kept. Viola had very few personal belongings, and her bag was quite compact. Inside, there were just a few articles of clothing!
The bathroom contained only the essentials, including basic toiletries and a single jar of face
cream on the counter.
This was how viola had always been during her time in the countryside. Skylar flipped through
a few of the books.
These looked like they had just been purchased by Viola. They were brand new and consisted of various literary works completely unrelated to antiques.
The hotel room was small enough that she could see the entire layout at a glance. With so few -belongings, organizing them was quick work.
Just as she was about to tuck the books into the bags, a piece of paper slipped out from one of
them.
Skylar didn’t notice at first, but Joe did. “What’s this?” he asked, picking it up.
It was a sheet of letterhead. As he unfolded it, Skylar put down the book she was holding and joined him to look.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
