Rosa bit her lip, making a difficult decision. Finally, she reached out to Cecil.
"I'll send you a photo. Her name is Skylar Sullivan, and she's an antique restorer."
She selected a flattering front-facing photo of Skylar and sent it off. Cecil was busy editing various news stories and hadn't slept all night. When he saw the photo from Rosa, he was thrilled.
"This mistress has a lovely name and is pretty too. But she doesn't know how to behave. How could she possibly be the third party between you and Mr. Sowle?
"I really can't stand these types of hypocritical women. Let's ruin her so she'll never have a chance to interfere in anyone's relationship again."
Rosa's eyes flickered as she read Cecil's response. "Go ahead and do what you think is best."
A sense of satisfaction washed over her as if she had just completed a crucial task. Yet, unease lingered within her.
She tossed and turned in bed, unable to shake her anxious thoughts. Her gaze fell on the bandage wrapped around her wrist. No one could stop her from marrying Joe tomorrow.
…
The next day, at 8:00 am, Skylar hadn't yet woken up when Gloria knocked on her door.
"Skye, we need to have breakfast and leave right now," Gloria called from outside.
Skylar rarely got up at this time. She had probably fallen asleep around three or four in the morning. When she saw that it was already 8:00 am, she quickly got out of bed and opened the door. "Grandma, I'm going to wash my face now."
"Hurry up," Gloria urged anxiously.
Seeing that Skylar was still groggy, she realized she had stayed up late the night before. They couldn't afford to waste any more time.
Just moments ago, several friends had called her, all inquiring about Skylar. Some unscrupulous reporter had reported that Skylar was a mistress, and now everyone was flooding the internet with hateful comments about her.
Gloria felt a surge of anger as she read the remarks. She had to stop Joe and Rosa from getting married. Everyone needed to know that the so-called Ned was actually Joe, Gloria's grandson and Skylar's husband.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
