If Lizzie said the wrong thing, the consequences would be unimaginable. So, when faced with the reporters' inquiries, she simply replied that she had no comment or suggested they ask Joe instead.
After that, she quickly left the scene in the car. Inside, she didn't dare to relax at all. She immediately opened WhatsApp and messaged Skylar.
"The reporters are asking me about the situation, and I just remembered I still hold the title of Joe's fiancée. When do you intend to officially announce that you are Joe's wife?"
Skylar replied quickly, responding just a few minutes later.
"You don't need to respond to this. Joe will handle it. You might as well take the opportunity to generate some buzz."
Lizzie felt a twitch at the corner of her mouth at the mention of "buzz". "If I wanted to generate buzz, I'd do better with Charles. Fine, I'll keep everything confidential from the reporters for now.
"Let's meet up in a few days when the hype dies down. We should invite Paul too. I've noticed he seems to be thriving lately."
"Sounds good."
After discussing things with Skylar, Lizzie felt more at ease. Although she wasn't an actress, being in her line of work meant she had to know how to handle media interactions. She decided to maintain an air of ignorance when faced with questions.
Just as she prepared to close her eyes and rest, the driver suddenly slammed on the brakes. She nearly slammed into the seat in front of her.
Lizzie's agent, Juliet Boyd, bumped her head and asked, rubbing the spot, "What's going on?"
"Someone is blocking the car. I was worried I'd hit her," the driver replied, sounding a bit flustered.
Lizzie frowned. "We're not in a cab. Who would stop a private car for no reason?"
"Could it be a reporter? These days, reporters are taking reckless risks for a story," Juliet remarked.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
