In the end, Kevin sighed helplessly, saying, "Fine. I've lived to this age. It doesn't matter anymore whether I live or die now.
"If I could have one chance to be reborn, let me not be Kevin anymore. Let me have a chance to stay by Viola's side!"
He calculated and planned endlessly for himself, only to realize that his fate with Viola was painfully shallow.
Years ago, Viola traveled abroad to see him. At the time, due to some issues, his face was covered with sores. Fearing he would frighten her, he refused to meet her.
Who would have thought that this one refusal would lead to them never meeting again in this lifetime?
"If the heavens pity me, then please give me one more chance to see Viola again!"
He stared at the compass in his hand and used all his strength as if trying to change the markings on it. But it was all in vain.
A thin trickle of blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
Finally, as if all his strength had drained away, he collapsed weakly onto the table. The compass fell from his hand, hitting the floor with a dull thud.
Hours later, the cleaning lady discovered Kevin's lifeless body.
…
Skylar received a call in the middle of the night.
A lawyer had called to inform her that Kevin had passed away. Before his death, he left a will, transferring all his assets to her to handle as she saw fit.
The news jolted Skylar wide awake, and she couldn't sleep again.
"Let's go to the hospital to check," Joe suggested.
After thinking for a moment, Skylar nodded. "Alright, let's go."

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
