Chapter 769
Jenny said, “I…”
Molly quickly supported Jenny. “Are you feeling unwell?”
Jenny shook her head. “I… I’m not sure. I’m feeling a bit dizzy. It should be nothing
serious.”
She tried to leave, but the dizziness intensified with each step. Struggling to keep her balance, her expression shifted. “I… I think I might be getting sick. Could you call 911 for me?”
“Let’s have you stay here tonight and rest. I’ll call a doctor over shortly. Let me help you upstairs.”
“Thank you, Mrs. Martin.”
Hours seemed to stretch on. Feeling increasingly overheated, Jenny tried to pull at her clothes, but her weakened state made it impossible.
In her dazed state, she thought she must be ill, but reassured herself it would be fine. Molly would call a doctor, and she’d recover quickly with proper treatment.
Edwin and Molly were genuinely kind. They must be pleased with her. She believed that as long as she showed Joe her true self and gradually exposed Skylar’s nature, she could still end up marrying him. Jenny was sure of it.
Perhaps the illness was worse than she thought. Someone entered the room and helped her out of her clothes, relieving some of the heat.
Groggily, she opened her eyes and murmured a thank you, only to be silenced by a
kiss.
Looking up, she saw who was kissing her and murmured, “Joe… you came to help
me? I feel so awful.”
With “Joe” close by, her discomfort began to fade, and Jenny’s response grew more enthusiastic. That night was intense and wild.
On the other side of the wall, Molly lay in bed with a blank expression. Despite her earplugs, she could faintly hear the sounds from the next room.
“You’re just a little hussy. You just said you’ve never had a boyfriend, but who knows how many you’ve actually had.”
Edwin, now showing signs of age despite his efforts to stay youthful, had a particular

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
