My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 799

Cameron's granddaughter flushed and complained, "Grandpa, I'm not thinking about him. He's just attractive. When I think about it, I don't think I'll be able to handle a man like this anyway. I'm not interested in giving myself grief because of him. I'll be the one suffering."

Cameron laughed and said, "Alright. You're an intelligent girl for being able to figure that out. Let's have dinner."

"Aren't we waiting for Skylar and Caleb?"

"They'll be staying at a hotel tonight. They've got things to do. Let's eat."

The fondue bubbled and smoked before them. Fresh meat and vegetables were laid out on the table.

Aiken loved having fondue too. The last time they ate together, he'd paid attention to Skylar's preferences.

As they ate, Skylar's face flushed. The fondue here was even spicier than the one in Jipsburg. After all, it was a local specialty.

Aiken handed a napkin to her and said, "Why don't you wipe at your sweat?"

"Thank you," replied Skylar. She took it from him and dabbed it on her forehead.

Suddenly, her phone pinged. Skylar put the napkin away and picked her phone up. It was a text from Paul. He asked, "Have you gone back to Jipsburg?"

"Not yet."

Paul immediately followed up with a call. "I thought you've returned to Jipsburg. That's great! Where are you now? I'll pick you up. Mr. Martin is drunk. His cold has also turned into a fever. I wanted to bring him to the hospital, but he wouldn't give in. You're the only one he'll listen to now!" Skylar could pick up on the panic in his tone.

Skylar's expression changed. She asked, "Have you taken his temperature?"

Sometimes, Joe behaved like a little kid.

"I have. He's got a high fever. The temperature read 102.2 degrees Fahrenheit."
