Caleb thought it was too coincidental that they were all on the same flight. Equally surprised was Aiken. He hadn't expected to run into Skylar, Joe, and Caleb on the return trip.
When Joe saw Aiken, his gaze was noticeably cool, and he only nodded briefly as a greeting.
Skylar greeted Aiken with a smile. "Mr. Parkinson."
Aiken approached and said, "Mr. Martin, Ms. Sullivan, Caleb, what a coincidence."
Even though Aiken sensed Joe's cool demeanor that came with a hint of barely perceptible hostility, he remained calm and composed.
A few of them exchanged a few words.
Mostly, it was Caleb and Aiken talking incessantly.
Soon, it was time to board the plane.
On the flight, there was little conversation.
When the plane landed, Aiken and Caleb left first. They assumed Skylar and Joe would head home together. They were unaware that Skylar had already moved out of the Galaxy Villa and that the couple was living separately.
After collecting her luggage, Skylar told Joe, "I'll take the airport shuttle. It will take me directly to where I'm staying."
Paul overheard their conversation and couldn't help but shout internally, "What the hell? They're still not back together?"
Even though they hadn't spoken much on the plane, it didn't seem like there was any issue between them. So, Paul wondered why they were still living apart.
This was a big problem.
Fate had already given them such a push. Joe had gotten sick, and they had even spent a night in a hotel together. Yet somehow, they still hadn't managed to reconcile.
Joe's lips were tightly pressed together. His eyes narrowed with barely contained anger as he looked at Skylar.
He deliberately emphasized each word. "We're not divorced yet."
"Getting divorced now or in a few days doesn't make any difference. Take care of yourself. I'm leaving now." Skylar pulled her suitcase and started to walk away.
The longer she stayed, the more she feared overthinking things. Just for a moment, she thought maybe Joe didn't want to lose her. Perhaps he was trying to salvage their marriage, reminding her she shouldn't be living outside.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
